Breaking Most senior practitioners would agree that 'breaking techniques' are a culmination of many different aspects of the martial arts. Power, accuracy, speed, correct technique, personal discipline, strength of character and courage, all immediately spring to mind. Without the personal discipline to continuously train and practice, the mastery of the given technique would never be achieved. Certainly, courage is required. Without the courage to face the bricks, blocks, paving stones or whatever it is that is being measured, there can be, no breaking. Without strength of character, the discipline required to train and practice would never be mastered. Without the power, accuracy and speed that is necessary to qualify the techniques, nothing could be measured. However, we do have the power, speed, accuracy, correct technique, personal discipline, strength of character and courage, to measure ourselves. We know this because we have all done it, and we will no doubt do it again. Below, are a few short video's of some of our Toldi demonstrating their skills. Click the links to watch the video's.
